SHEPPARTON TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE:
The Visitor Information Centre in Wyndham Street, Shepparton, is your first stop for information about things to see and do, and where to stay, while in Greater Shepparton.
WOODLANDS ESTATE LAVENDAR FARM:
Get a chance to see how lavender is harvested and distilled for essential oil. See over 7000 lavender plants. Sample some of the range of lavender goodies, gifts and products. 
WALKING TRACKS and BIKES:
The Goulburn River Pedestrian Bridge links the popular Victoria Park Lake precinct, featuring the Aquamoves and S-CAPE skate park, with SPC Ardmona KidsTown via the pathway.
ROWING VICTORIA:
Rowing Victoria hold a number of regattas throughout the year, and only a short drive to the course in Nagambie
SHEPPARTON TRIATHLON CLUB:
The Aquamoves and Shepparton Triathlon Club Sunset Triathlon Series kicks off during November.
THE MURRAY RIVER:
Shepparton is well placed for day trips to the Murray River. Visit the historic Port of Echuca, Tocumwal, Cobram Barooga or Yarrawonga Mulwala. 
LOCAL DISTRICT WINES:
The established wineries of the district vary from the stunning buildings of Mitchelton with its panoramic view from the tower to the rustic charm of Tahbilk Winery, Victoria's oldest winery and vineyard, and the smaller boutique wineries such as Longleat, Twelve Acres and Monichino Wines.  
INDIGENOUS HISTORY:
The Bangerang Cultural Centre in Shepparton, the first of its kind in Australia, aims to preserve and display local Aboriginal artefacts.

If it’s a bargain you are seeking; the factory sales outlets at some of the major industries are well worth a visit. Food processing companies such as SPC Ardmona and Campbell’s offer first quality products at greatly reduced prices.
